I think it's safe to say that a lot of people had been waiting for this day for a long long time! I went to high school with Hanna & Kale and its always been clear that they were perfect for each other. I mean, if any high school relationship makes it out alive I think we can all agree it has to be something special haha.
I love my job as a photographer because it lets me meet so many new faces, but nothing hits home like getting to hangout with people that I have known through different phases of life. As much as we all loved Kales "flow" in high school, I think we are all glad that he finally cut his VERY long hair (lol). And as much as I loved softball games, guitar class, and sleepovers with Hanna when we were younger, this is hands down my favorite memory with her. Being little girls was fun, but watching an amazing woman become a wife to her forever best friend is better. They have both changed and grown up in so many ways over the years and seeing them commit to each other on their wedding day was truly special.
It was a perfect sunny day for an intimate backyard wedding on the lake. If 2020 has taught me anything it's that backyard weddings are my favorite and the people we love matter most. Happily ever after, high school sweethearts!!!
